We have opened a retail outlet at 1 Spring St in the Old Port section of Portland, Maine, considered one of the 10 best cities to visit in the country.
We will be showcasing our unique yarn collection year round in Portland’s trendy shopping district, near the waterfront. There are wonderful restaurants, shops and plenty of parking. We’re very pleased with the location and hope you will come visit us.
We are open 12 ~ 4 or 5 pm Wed ~ Sat.Usually we are open longer hours and most days especially during summer & fall but may occasionally have other business ~ traveling to shows & dyeing yarns come to mind~ that may require a change in schedule. We are 2 blocks east of the Holiday Inn by the Bay, 1 block east of the Civic Center. We are next to Sotheby’s, across from TD Banknorth and kitty corner from Canal Plaza. We are near the Nickelodeon theater complex and the Temple Parking garage. We are 2 blocks north of Commercial St and the waterfront.
From 295 North, take exit 4 which will lead you to the waterfront and Commercial St. where you will turn left onto Union St. Go 2 blocks to Spring, turn left. We are on the right.
From 295 South, take Franklin St exit and head south toward the waterfront, past Congress St, then turn right onto Middle St. Proceed to Union St, where Middle becomes Spring St, about 4 blocks. We are on the right.
